Crosby Arboretum Fall Native Plant Sale: Tomorrow and Saturday. Sept 28 and 29, 2012.

This morning Volunteers and Staff at The Crosby Arboretum prepared for the annual Fall Native Plant Sale that will be held tomorrow and Saturday, September 28 & 29, 2012. Volunteers helped put price tags on plants, arrange plants in the greenhouse and nursery, put out signs, and put up tents and tables, etc.

If you haven’t checked it out yet, the plant list can be viewed on our previous plant sale post.

The full-color plant catalog, put together by Ms. Robin Veerkamp, can be viewed or printed from our website.

The following VOLUNTEERS came out to help today: Rick Enkoji (pictured above), Cindy Murchison (pictured below), Tom Heim (pictured below), Jack Young (pictured below), and Joy Lorens (who donated perennials for the plant sale).

We could still use more Volunteers to come out Friday and Saturday to assist with the plant sale. If you would like to help, please call Richelle at 601-799-2311 ext. 101 or email Richelle at rstafne@ext.msstate.edu. The Plant Sale will take place out back at the greenhouse area (see image below), so please use the Service Entrance for this event.

Hope to see you Friday or Saturday!
