We are using a NEW Volunteer Sign-up Tool created by volunteers for volunteers. So for those who are online, this is another way you can sign up to help us out here at The Crosby Arboretum. The site is called volunteersignup.org. If you have not completed a Volunteer Application, please send one to me ASAP before filling out the sign-up sheets listed below. The application can be found on our Volunteer page of the website.
We hope Volunteersignup.org will be a tool that helps us to reach a wider audience. Please let me know if you like this as an option by emailing me at rstafne@ext.msstate.edu. When you sign-up it will ask you for some details that are shared with us at the Arboretum, but they assure us they are not shared with anyone else.

(from their website) Someone signs up to volunteer: When you sign up to volunteer, you will be asked for your name, email address and phone number. Your first name and the first initial of your last name (e.g., John D.) will appear on the signup sheet, indicating that you have signed up for a particular volunteer job, and is viewable by those who have access to the signup sheet (e.g., members of your organization). Your email address and phone number are collected so that the VolunteerSignup.org account holder who created the signup sheet (e.g., your organization’s volunteer coordinator) or VolunteerSignup.org can contact you about matters relating to VolunteerSignup.org, if necessary.
VolunteerSignup.org will not sell, share, or rent your email address or phone number to outside parties. VolunteerSignup.org account holders (e.g., your organization’s volunteer coordinator) are asked not to sell, share, or rent your email address or phone number.

Sign-up to volunteer to assist with The Piney Woods Heritage Festival, Fri. or Sat. Nov. 16-17
We cannot say enough about the importance of the Volunteers at The Crosby Arboretum. Our volunteers love the Arboretum. They give their time and talents through their hard work and devotion. My goal is to increase our Volunteers and Volunteer service hours/participation at the Arboretum. We want the Arboretum to be a fun place to give your time.
